KTM seats are designed for a rider who stands up a lot. That is great on a technical trail and less great on hour four of a tar road between towns. A few small upgrades make long days much easier.
Seat cushions and covers
A gel or 3D mesh cushion spreads the pressure and lets air move, which matters in a South African summer. A mesh seat cover does a similar job without changing how the seat feels much. Seat comfort.
Keep things within reach
A handlebar bag or a bottle holder means you can drink and grab your sunglasses without stopping and unpacking. Small things, but they add up over a long day. Small bags and holders.
If you ride two-up
A pillion grab belt gives your passenger something better to hold than your jacket. Both of you will appreciate it.
The rest is you
Stop every hour or so, drink more water than you think you need, and stand up on the pegs for a minute now and then. Free, and it works.
